Offers & Promotions
Offers let you run promotions directly in YellowPOS — buy-one-get-one deals, bundle prices, and multi-product combos. They apply automatically at checkout on both your online store and in-store POS, with no coupon codes required.
1. Where to find offers
Offers are under the Offers section in your dashboard sidebar. From there you can see all active and past offers, create new ones, export your offer list, and download a PDF summary.

2. Offer types
YellowPOS supports two main offer types:
Buy N Get M Free
The customer buys a set quantity (N) and gets additional items free (M). For example: buy 2 coffees, get 1 free — set N=2, M=1. This type works on a specific product or an entire category. A category-level offer means any product in that category qualifies: buy any 3 items from the "Drinks" category, get 1 free.
Bundle Price (N for $X)
The customer pays a fixed price for a set quantity. For example: 3 bottles of water for $2.00. Set the quantity (N) and the bundle price ($X). This also works on a specific product or a whole category. It's useful when buying in multiples should be cheaper than buying individually at the regular unit price.
Multi-Product Combo
A combo bundles two or more different products together at a single price. For example: a burger + fries + drink for $12.00. Select the products that make up the combo and set the combo price. The offer applies when a customer has all those items in their cart. This is useful for meal deals, gift sets, or curated product bundles.
3. Creating an offer
Go to Offers → New and fill in the form:
- Name — a label for your reference and for reports (e.g. "Summer BOGO on Drinks").
- Type — choose Buy N Get M Free or Bundle Price. For a combo, choose Multi-Product Combo from the "Applies To" dropdown first, which changes the form accordingly.
- Applies To — choose Specific Product, Category, or Multi-Product Combo. Your choice determines which selector appears next.
- Product or Category — select from your catalog using the dropdown.
- Quantities — enter the buy quantity (N) and, for BOGO, the free quantity (M). For bundle pricing, enter the bundle price instead.
- Date range — optionally set a start and end date to run a limited-time promotion. Leave both blank for an ongoing offer.
- Active — checked by default. Uncheck to create the offer but not activate it yet.
4. How offers apply at checkout
Offers are applied automatically — customers don't need to enter a code. When a cart qualifies (the right products and quantities are present), the discount is applied at checkout and shown clearly in the order summary. This works on both the online store checkout and the in-store POS.
Only one offer applies per qualifying set of items. If a customer buys twice the qualifying quantity, the offer may apply twice (e.g. buy 4 get 2 free on a BOGO 2+1 offer).
5. Scheduling and deactivating offers
Use the start and end date fields to schedule a time-limited promotion — for example, a Ramadan offer that runs for a specific month. Once the end date passes, the offer stops applying automatically. You can also deactivate an offer at any time by editing it and unchecking the Active toggle, without deleting it.
6. Exporting offers
From the Offers list page, you can export your offers to Excel or download a PDF summary. This is useful for printing a promotions sheet for staff, or keeping records of past campaigns.
