Getting Started with YellowPOS
Get your business on YellowPOS in a few minutes. No credit card is required for the free trial, so you can explore the full dashboard and build your store or menu before committing.
1. Create your account
Head to Get Started (or Sign up) from the landing page. Enter your email and choose a secure password — you’ll use these to sign in whenever you need to manage your store. If you prefer, you can sign in with Google instead; one click and you’re in. We’ll send a verification email to confirm your address; once you’ve clicked the link, your account is active and you can move on to setup.
2. Complete setup
Right after your first login you’ll see the Setup wizard. It asks for your business name (this will appear on your store or menu and in the public URL), phone number, address, and email. Taking a minute to fill these in correctly means your checkout page, contact info, and any delivery or map links will show the right details to customers. Don’t worry if something changes later — you can update everything from your profile and business settings at any time.
3. Explore the dashboard
The main app is your control centre. From here you add and edit products and categories, view and process orders, manage clients, set up tables (for dine-in or layout), and handle reservations. The sidebar lists all these sections — click any item to jump there. A good first step is to create at least one category and a few products; until you do, your public store or menu won’t have anything to display. Once you’ve added items, you can share your link and start taking orders.

4. Choose store or menu
YellowPOS gives you two ways to present your catalog to customers. An online shop is a full storefront: a home page, product catalog, collections, individual product pages, contact form, and policy pages — ideal for retail or anyone who wants a proper e‑commerce feel. A QR menu is a streamlined ordering view: customers see your categories and products in a simple, mobile-friendly layout, perfect for restaurants and cafés. You choose which one to use in Personalisation, where you also set the theme colour, fonts, and checkout options. The next guide walks you through the website builder and customisation in more detail.
